Where Is Your Credit Card Right Now?

Mine is ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE ROOM in the bottom of my bag. I doubt it’s in my wallet because I always just throw it in after I use it.

Another question — what’s your paypal password? Do you know it off the top of your head? I USED to know it but once everyone started hacking everyone it’s some crazy auto-generated thing I can’t even remember.

Anyways, why am I talking about credit cards and paypal passwords? Am I secretly trying to steal your identity? Not exactly.

Your target market might have read that one email you sent a while ago and liked it BUT their credit card was ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE ROOM and walking is so hard, am I right?

Your perfect person might be nodding YES to your awesome missive but they can’t remember their paypal password and they don’t feel like resetting it.

I know what you are thinking: those are dumb reasons to not buy!

But admit it — you’ve TOTALLY not bought something because you couldn’t remember a password and didn’t know your debit card number. That’s okay. It’s totally natural and a part of human nature. While you might think the world revolves around you and that your clients are thinking about your offers all the time…they aren’t. In fact, most of us are so easily distracted, we manage to forget the stuff we REALLY NEED.

How many times have you gone to Target to get toilet paper and left with 60 dollars of who knows what? Why do I need SO MANY fake plants?

That’s why you have to remind people consistently about who you are and what you offer because they might not know or they do know and forgot!

This is especially true for people who are on your list. Most people stay on your list because they are hoping to buy at some point. The only time they signal “I’m not interested” is when they hit UNSUBSCRIBE.

You are not bothering people.

You are not pestering people.

You are reminding people.

If they don’t want what you have, they will let you know by unsubscribing. You won’t have to worry about it. If someone doesn’t want you to tell them about what you are selling, they should NOT BE ON YOUR LIST.

Repeat after me:

I’m not the center of anyone’s universe.

Nobody is thinking about me.

Walking is hard and credit cards are not always in reach.

TELL PEOPLE ABOUT YOUR THINGS MKAY?!!? I WANT YOU TO SUCCEED!
